Ron Robinson

Ron is a U.S. Army Veteran and industry professional leveraging over 20 years of experience as a news and cable television Assistant Director, Camera Operator, and Military Veteran Combat Cameraman, as well as an instructor in adult education teaching Video Production, Film, Television Broadcasting, and Communication. Additionally he is adept at leading teams, conducting training and working in a dynamic, fast-paced production and broadcasting environment. Ron’s comprehensive background includes managing the workflow, hardware and software inventory, and budget for of video equipment and man hours in the millions of dollars; and aspects of risk management, safety, and quality assurance. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, an Associate Degree in Video Production and Filmmaking from Art Institute of Atlanta, and completed a Masters program at Brenau University with a major in Communication/Cinema Studies.

His professional experience at Frame88 is supported by the last twelve years as an adjunct professor at the School of Audio Engineering (SAE, Atlanta, GA); six years with the Atlanta Braves Major League Baseball (MLB, Atlanta, GA) as a Ballpark Camera Operator and Instant Replay Technician utilizing information technology to interface with the Major League Umpires on instant replays, during the course of 80+ MLB home games; trained to hook up the home and away broadcasting trucks for distribution worldwide by MLB and internet App Operated Pitch Cast and Stat Cast systems.
